Program Staff
CCAPS program staff play a crucial role in supporting both faculty and students throughout the academic process. They manage key administrative tasks such as handling Letters of Appointment, class scheduling, and room assignments. They assist with registration permission numbers, grade entry support, and the hiring of new instructors. The staff also coordinates instructional item and service purchasing, textbook orders, and desk copies. They ensure proper handling of learning resource copyright, especially for Canvas library course materials. Additionally, they set up course evaluations and provide support for training and development, ensuring that all educational needs are met efficiently.

Faculty Directors
The faculty director is responsible for the quality of instruction and the curriculum of the applied discipline for which they provide leadership in the Applied and Professional Studies program. The director facilitates internal University of Minnesota relations with full-time faculty, colleges and departments, and external partners; serves as a liaison with adjunct faculty; communicates about programmatic issues with the Academic Council; interprets the needs of industry through advisory committees; and fosters a sense of community between faculty and institutional partners in the academic programs. Academic Advisors
uAPS academic advisors assist students in their academic careers. Advisors are very knowledgeable about their specialty major(s) and knowledge areas, including program admission, major prerequisites, course prerequisites, scheduling, and deadlines. Faculty can also refer students to advisors regarding questions on enrollment, such as permission to add or withdraw from a class.
